Search Guidelines

You can search for documents by entering search criteria and executing a search
based upon your criteria. Execute search will return a Results list of documents
        that match your search criteria.

You can specify search criteria using any combination
of the fields on the search page.

Begin your search with minimal criteria specified. If too many results are found,
refine the search by adding more criteria to narrow the result list.

            For Example

Let's say you are looking for documents relating to a property owned by Frank T.
Smith and Ethel M. Smith. The property is located on lot 4, block 5B of the Big
Spring subdivision. The County's Parcel ID is 10-123456.

The recommended search method is to search by name first. Enter the Smith in the
last name field. Since we would expect a large result list from this last name we will also specify
a first initial. Enter the letter F in the first name field. Execute the search
        and review the result list.

If the result list is still too long make these changes the search criteria executing
        search after each individual change.

            - Change F to Frank in the first name field.
- Select the subdivision name, Big Spring from the list.
- Add lot and/or block.
- Searching by Parcel ID is not recommended, this field is not always indexed and is therefore unreliable.
